33 Yet you have been righteous in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly.
God is so awesome that no matter how many times we had committed sins or how wicked we may be, He still love us. I remember the story of the prostitute in the Bible who was to be stoned to death by the people. God came and ask the crowd if anyone of them is righteous enough and let him be the first to throw the stones. The condemning people left and in the end only Jesus and the woman remained. And the Lord said, “Sin no more”.
Because of Christ’s sacrifice, fear of condemnation is no longer within our system. It was Christ who suffered and died. It was Him who took our place. But of course it should not be our excuse, since that day we had accepted Him as our Lord and Savior, we should start to live righteously just like the way Jesus did here on Earth. Sin no more, He said. If in case we had committed a wrongdoing which is just normal to humans, we have to ask for forgiveness and correct ourselves. Be mindful of the consequences then move on.Live uprightly and walk in Spirit.
