How God Speaks (Job 33:14-15)

For God speaks in one way,
and in two, though man does not perceive it.
In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on men,
while they slumber on their beds

I belong in a blocked section when I was in college. Because of our familiarity and being with each other for four years, we already knew each other from head to toe.Well, almost! For that reason, most of the time we were noisy. We chatted with our seatmates even though the class was ongoing and the professor was already in front. Some lecturers just took it for granted and did not mind, some raised they eye brows but said nothing while those who were pissed off suddenly shout at the top of their lungs and scream, “Class, pay attention!”

Christian life is like a situation in the classroom. God uses all means to speak to us but it is up to us if we will listen and pay notice or take him for granted. If we want to be lead and learn, pay attention.

We should not ignore the small voice of God. He wants to guide us to the right path. He speaks to us in all ways possible, we just have to be all ears. We always do complain that God is not listening. It is not true. Probably the reason why God is not answering us is because we are not hearing. How can we know His response if our ears, hearts and minds are closed?
