Against the Flow (Psalm 5:12)

For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
    you cover him with favor as with a shield.

In this wicked world, it is hard to pinpoint one who is living a righteous life. Crimes are everywhere. Bad things became so rampant that it is normal for us to hear almost all reports in the television about such. Unusual the day is when reports about a man returning back a bag full of money owned by a diplomat or elite flashed into the TV screen. More and more people age up having selfish ambitions in mind. With this, YOU and I must dare to go against the flow.

When we surrendered our lives to God and accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, we become new creations and were commanded to walk in Spirit. We allow ourselves to be called Christians. We carry Christ’s name and that for a fact would mean that we reflect Christ. We should act like Him and love like Him. Therefore, we should act righteously. Choose what is right in the eyes of God. Don’t follow the bad fad. Don’t be deceived by what this world teaches. Don’t let yourself be taken by the evil’s current. Great things await those who act uprightly. What goes around comes back around. Do good and our loving Father will reward and bless us more than what we can expect. He will cover us always with His precious blood that will shield us from all works of Satan.
