And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
It is better to trust the Lord than to put trust in man.
As a child, we were advised to choose whom to trust. We were even reminded not to talk to strangers. Trust is not a small thing to be ignored. When you trust someone, it is your life that is somewhat at stake because when you have chosen to trust the wrong person, your heart will be ruined in a way.
Last November 2012, one of the news headlines that could be watched on Philippine TV was all about the Aman Group pyramid scam. Thousands of its members at Pagadian and even in other parts of the country became victims of it. Billions of money invested all in all were plundered. The person responsible hide in Kota Kinabalu for months until he was arrested last January.
If only the investors had chosen whom to trust. Thank God, our Lord is never like that. He never run away. He never forsake those who seek Him. We can invest all that we have to him, most of all, our life and we are sure that it will never be put to waste. We can put our trust in him. We can believe in all His promises and it is certain that He will fulfill all his words. Trust God and He will make our paths straight!
