Came to my Rescue (Pslam 46:1-2)

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea

Earthquakes, landslides, floods and fires are becoming rampant nowadays. Many lives were lost, many families had been in anguish. However, in spite of all these calamities, we should all be thankful because we have a great Savior who takes refuge. The Bible had stated that life would never be easy to those who are in the Lord. There will always be trials and challenges but what is certain is that we have Jesus as our source of strength and hope. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Everything happens for a reason, whatever happens here on earth if we are sure that we are already saved by Jesus there is nothing to worry about.

One of my most loved songs is “Came to My rescue”. The lyrics of it encourages especially in times of need. The chorus goes,

I call you answer

And you came to my rescue

And I wanna be where you are

So when we need rescue we just have to call him, shout his name and He will come to the rescue.
