Put no trust in extortion;
set no vain hopes on robbery;
if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
To student nurses, one of the most unforgettable events is the Capping and Pinning Ceremony. It became remarkable to me not just because of the event itself but also for the reason that a burglar/s had ransacked our apartment while I was excitedly marching up the plenary hall. Thank God for saving us! I cannot imagine what I will do in case that the thief entered our house with me inside. Probably I am no longer alive by now.
I cannot understand why some people love to do wicked things in order to have a big sum of money at other people’s expense! God is not pleased with what they are doing even if the cash will be used to cure their sick family member or whatsoever. The end does not justify the means.
To those who are thinking of resorting to the bad ways of earning money because you’ve got nothing to give to your family, think again. Look up and talk to God. He said He will provide. He promised it and it will never be broken. Just put your trust in him. And if one time God will prosper you financially, stay humble. Do not let money ruin your relationship with the Lord. Instead, share your blessings to those who are in need.
