Safe Haven (Psalm 107:29-30)

He made the storm be still,
and the waves of the sea were hushed.
Then they were glad that the waterswere quiet,
and he brought them to their desired haven

When storms and waves of trials came rushing to life, we cannot help but cry out to God. A single tough problem can make us go crazy, how much more when complex difficulties arise at the same time? However, all of these won’t stay for life. There will be a time for each challenge to pass. It just so happen that we need to face storms and waves to learn and appreciate the value of life.

Be still and know that there is God. He made everything. He is the alpha and omega. Consequently, He is in command of all things. At God’s perfect time our hard challenges will come to an end. A day will come when the storms will diminished and the strong waves will no longer be destructive. We just have to continuously and desperately pray for it. And we’ll be glad to face our tomorrow after surpassing a tough journey. Our desired haven is waiting in the end of the race. God will make a way for us to reach it. There is a rainbow after the rain. There is hope in God’s hands. In His presence there is Safe Haven.

Come home to God’s embrace.
