There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
A woman’s heart should be so lost with God than a man has to seek Him first just to find her.
Are you tired of broken relationships? Is your heart crushed into pieces because of engaging to the wrong person? If your answer is YES, then I think it is time for you to surrender your love life to God, give Him the pen and let Him write your love story.
Teens and young adults are so fond of entering a relationship even if they are not yet ready for it. Some change partners like clothes. They love to play with their hearts and emotions. At 16, a teenager interviewed in a documentary said that she had 16 ex-boyfriends.At that time she’s already 2 months pregnant with er current partner. Isn’t it that when you engage in a relationship, a part of your heart is given to your bf/gf so once you’re decided to call it off, a part of your heart will also be broken. Now, with that 16 exes, what more could you give to your husband when you’ve given majority of your heart’s parts to the wrong person?
To men, having a lot of girlfriends is a boost to their ego. Some kind of macho image in our culture gives this wrong idea. If a woman is instructed to be faithful, and brings her husband good, not harm, all the days of her life (Proverbs 31:12), same thing goes with men. Real men are loyal and stick to one.
Now you might ask “how on earth will I find the one if I will not engage in a relationship? My answer based from Joshua Harris’ I Kissed Dating Goodbye: When God knows You are ready for commitment, He will reveal the right person at the right circumstance.” Look for a believer and do not ever trade your faith to a man/woman just like what King Solomon had done.
Remember, God should be our greatest love, our first love. While waiting for the right man or woman, enjoy the blessing of singlehood and use this opportunity to serve God If you want to marry the right woman/man, be the right woman/man first!
Seek your first love before your true romantic love.
