The Golden Rule (Isaiah 3:10-11)

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them,
    for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.
Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him,
    for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him

What we sow is what we reap. Never will a tomato plant bear a strawberry fruit. When we exhibit kindness to our fellowmen, we will also harvest the fruit of our good deed.

When we help the needy, time will come that when we are in need that those whom we have helped will come to our rescue. And when we obey God’s commands to live a righteous life, we shall be blessed as promised.

To those who do wicked things and feels pleasure on other people’s expense, one day God will punish them. Never will we escape God’s sight. He sees everything that we do and there is a corresponding consequence to every wrong action.

I know one way or another we’ve been mistreated, misjudged, discriminated, mocked or had experienced wicked things. Has justice not been served? Worry no more. Vengeance is in God’s hands. Verse eleven says, “For what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.”

Apply the Golden rule if we want to live a peaceful and blissful life. Do unto others what you want others do unto you and do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you.

God’s words are simple, it is our actions and reasons that complicate things.

Humble thyself (Isaiah 2:12)

For the LORD of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty, against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;

Conceited pigs- ever had an encounter with them? I bet at least once in your life, you did. There are a lot of this kind existing in our circle. Just to be not called harsh, I just ignore them. However, sometimes they are getting into my nerves that I can’t help but feel irritated which is not right.

Those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Humble thy selves. All that we have comes from above so we need not boast about it. If there is something that we should be proud of, that is about what our God has done for us.

It is in our nature to be envious of those persons who possess big houses, luxury cars, and million pennies in the bank, famous and popular. But be aware that too much of it could drown you and pull you away from God’s side. Do not feel belittled. Put in mind that all of these will come to pass. We are just here on Earth to stay temporarily. The real residence were we would be will be revealed after life.

Sometimes it is good when we are lacking because it draws us closer to our Maker unlike when we have all the things. There is a possibility for us to forget the one who had provided all that we have.
