My back up (Isaiah 28:2)

Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong; like a storm of hail, a destroying tempest, like a storm of mighty, overflowing waters, he casts down to the earth with his hand.

When we are weak, it is not advisable to depend on someone who is fragile too. It will just worsen the case. Haven’t you wondered why despite all the challenges we’ve been through, still we are here alive and kicking? I believe that it is because behind us is a Supreme Being who is always there to back us up.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever and that means He will always be our great foundation. When a house is built with good foundation, it can last for a lifetime. Well, almost! Whatever kind of storms, floods and typhoon cannot easily make it collapse. The same thing happens to Christians. Because we have a great and mighty foundation, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Do you have what it takes to conquer the world? Do you stand on good round and surrounded by a good base which makes nobody to put you down? For we have the tendency to become weak, we must always have someone to back us up, to help us stay strong and make it through.

Run to the Lord our mighty and strong Savior. Though we are weak, He makes us strong.
