Nothing Shall be Left (Isaiah 39:6)

Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up till this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says the LORD.

Naked shall a person be born, naked shall he be of possessions, wealth, fame and power when he die.

Many people define happiness through success, recognition, wealth, properties, etc. They work hard night and day just to achieve their dreams that sometimes they forgot to remember the purpose why they were created. Surely God wants us to prosper yet certainly not by giving all the time we have to these things and placing God at the bottom of our priority list.

All things will come to pass. Not even one of what we have can we bring with us in life after death, including our gorgeous and sexy body! With that thought, I believe we should use our resources wisely not by being greedy but by sharing what we have generously.

Ever knew someone who was able to have his own mansion yet he sleeps in his car or office because of too busy working 24/7? Ironic isn’t it? Sometimes we become so preoccupied with this world that we tend to forget the Maker of it. It is not too bad to aim for progress and success but we should not forget that too much is not good especially when that too much interferes our time and relationship with God.
