God is with us (Isaiah 41:10)

fear not, for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Many times it was stated in the Bible to fear not yet we always feel anxious despite how many times it was said not to be afraid. If there is one thing that we should fear, that is God and not anything that is in this world. He said, do not be dismayed yet many times we had lose hope and feel depressed because of facing tough challenges. Aren’t we aware that God is the source of our hope and strength?

Claim the promise of God. When he says He is with you, He really is with you. Sometimes it is our lack of faith that hinders us to attain what God had promised. What caused Peter to sink while walking on the water? It was his lack of trust. On the other hand, the young king David was able to face the giant bravely and cut his head because of his strong faith.

We have our own strengths and weaknesses. We have different fears in life but we shouldn’t let our fear consume us. Face your fears for God is with us. Develop your weaknesses and turn them to become your strengths. Do not be afraid to fail. As long as we have God by our side, grab the opportunity to claim His promises.
