It is never too late (Jeremiah 13:26-27)

I will pull up your skirts over your face
that your shame may be seen—
 your adulteries and lustful neighings,
    your shameless prostitution!
I have seen your detestable acts
on the hills and in the fields.
Woe to you, Jerusalem!
How long will you be unclean?

When I am bored, I usually wear my earphone and listen to different stations of FM in my cellular phone. As soon as 2100H strikes, some stations have these programs wherein a caller talks to the DJ to share experience and ask for advices. It has been ages since I started listening to love confessions in the ratio that is why it is not impossible to notice that the world is becoming wicked, disobedient and immoral. Has too much liberty something to do with it? Are we abusing the freedom that the Lord has given us? The usual stories I’ve heard from callers were about fornication, adultery, broken families and some were even proud that they had sexual encounters at a very young age! What on earth!

Gay marriage has been accepted in some countries. Well, I do not condemn gays and lesbians because we are all God’s creations yet to legalize marriage between same sexes, I think is a NO-NO. Abortion is another thing. Some places do not prohibit killing of innocent lives and abortion pills and clinics are accessible. Aren’t we supposed to be responsible of our own doings? There are rape victims out there who conceived the fruit of their rapist’s seed but they opted to raise the kids since children are God’s blessings! Thousands of women had become victims of human trafficking, prostitution and pornography. Women were not created to become sex slaves! Pre-marital sex is now the new trend and being a virgin at 20 seems odd already. Because of these conditions worldwide, have you realized what good can we pass on to the next generation?

The Word of God exposes righteousness and defines wickedness if all of us can just give time to listen and meditate on it. None of the wrong doings we have done or have been doing is hidden in His eyes. He knows everything. He knows how filthy we are. Yet He gave His only Son to save us. It is never too late to live cleanly. It is never too late to start a new, turn away from wickedness and run to Jesus. It is never too late to make this world a better place to live in, for us…and for the next generations to come.
