Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
God’s words are considered treasures. If we let these words enter our right ear and leave through our left ear, we just let priceless treasures to slip from our hands. Here is the thing, so as not to let these treasures slip away, we must put those words in our hearts which is the excellent storage area for precious things.
Instead of filling our hearts with hatred and vengeance, give the space to God’s words, good experiences and learning. It should be the criticisms and bullying that should leave the ear and not the words that were preached by the Pastors.
For these words are treasures if we keep it in our hearts in times of need, we have something to use. God’s words gives strength to the weak, hope to the hopeless, gladness to the gloomy and sense of direction to those who are lost.
What if these treasures were not kept? What shall we use in times of need? That’s why God said that we shall receive in our hearts the words he speak and hear it with our ears.
