Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?
God wants us all to be saved. He has given us too many chances to turn away from evil. Some people turn away from their wicked past but others still remain to be captives of sin. It is clearly stated in the above verse that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. He wants us to sit beside His throne in Heaven.
Manny Pacquiao is a well-known world champ boxer. He had a wicked past. He engaged in vices. He had another women aside from his wife, Jinkee. He gambled and he was never committed to Christ. But God is so amazing. He moves in mysterious ways. If you could see Manny Pacquaio now and hear him testify, you wouldn’t believe that he was once what was stated. His life had changed when he turned his back 180 degrees from wickedness and drew closer to God.
It is never too late to attain an eternal life with God. Choose to live rather than die because of our evil ways. God gives many chances for us to be saved. For all of us are God’s.
