My Great Shepherd (Ezekiel 34:11-12)

11 “For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

Jesus came to save the lost. He is our Great Shepherd who will search for souls that are not yet found. He is the Shepherd who will lead us in the right direction. He is the Shepherd who will protect us from the wicked wild animals of this world that wants to devour us.

When we feel so lost and the path we are walking in is not the right way for us, call upon the Great Shepherd. Though we may have entered the wrong path, He could always bring us to the way where we should go.

Sometimes I feel like I am in the middle of a big forest alone. I cannot go to the place where I should be because of many options yet there is no certainty of great future. There are many obstacles along the way, many wild beasts are trying to put me down. If you are on the same shoes as mine, the verses above is for us. Though we are not so sure of what lies ahead of us, why this or that is happening, when we feel so lost, when we are confuse of which way to go, just lift your head up high and be reminded that our Great Shepherd is watching us from up above. He will rescue us in times of need. He will show us means to find the right track.
