Practicing Patience (Isaiah 8:17)

I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him

God is not dead and He is not deaf. He may be moving in a slow motion but He is never late. He is the master of the art of right timing.

Sarah was able to conceive and give birth to a child in her 90s. A woman who has bleeding disorder for decades was healed with just a touch of Jesus’ clothe through her faith.

We may thought for some time that as if God is not listening to our concerns. Why does He not respond immediately to our requests?

Learn to practice patience when God has us waiting. Yes, some days it’s a lot harder to be patient but do not get tired. You are not alone in waiting.

Whatever situation we are into–may you be a pregnant mother who can’t wait for nine struggling months to end, a student dying for the semester to close; a single waiting for a partner to come along; whether you have problems waiting to be solved and prayers that need to be answered, be patient! Keep the faith. God is with us. There is hope in Him so do not give up. There is a purpose behind everything.

When we are waiting for the Lord, we are not waiting in vain. Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord.
